Mary Mozafary is the founder of She4She, an association for migrant women in Hungary. She is the current job program coordinator and manager for migrants for Oltalom charity. Mary was born in Kabul, Afghanistan and lives in Hungary as a Hungarian citizen.
As a refugee activist based in Hungary, Mary has diverse experience working with national and international nonprofit organizations that deal with peace-building, refugee integration, and education, with a special focus on women's rights. She is an individual member of WNOMW, which aims to advocate for refugee resettlement and engagement of refugees in Europe, and the women's movement in particular.
Mary founded the women's organization She4She to bring the unheard voices of migrant and refugee women living across Hungary and Europe to the forefront of discussion. She4She also helps newcomer refugee women lift their spirits and build a life as they wish.
Mary holds a B.A. in Law and Political Science from Kabul University, and a Certificate in Management and Leadership for Women Officials of Administrative Staff from the College of India.
